testing: one, two, three?
After a month of watching Chris not update his blog, I decided I wanted my own. Here goes nothing.
... more after I mess around with the settings...
* a while later*
Ok, I went outside to dig these weeds that make a tall stock and gets these large burs. I merrily dig my way along, cursing the gravel that makes it sort of hard to dig. When suddenly, I start to hear these hissing and popping noises. That's when I look down, panic tightening in my chest and then I see the raccoon. A baby raccoon. Mostly it was just really surprising... baby raccoon's aren't very menacing, it just shocked the hell out of me to see it peering out from under a mammoth leaf. I took some pictures of it, I'll post them if I ever learn how. If I didn't know better I would have scooped it up to give it a cuddle as if it was my kitten. With their sweet little bandit masks these animals were meant to be hard to resist. If you know anything about raccoons, you know you must resist feeding them or later face major property destruction.
... in other news...
I finished a good book yesterday. Expecting Adam by Martha Beck. I laughed and I cried. That equals a great read in my opinion.
I hope it stops raining soon. I don't know what Chris will do if it goes on much longer.
thanks for coming out...
