Two day weekend.

Well, it's Sunday. The first of two whole days off with my beloved. It's almost 5pm and we really haven't done much at all. A little dabbling in the baby name books trying to get a name picked out. We'd like to go in with about 3 solid choices and pick once we see the baby. I also have to go through the boys names again incase the ultrasound people were way off. We shall see. I got an email today, Chris' cousin Brian and his wife had their second baby this am, a girl. So if ours is a girl like we think, we won't be the first. We kind of wanted to be the first.. heh, I don't know why.

We currently have a tornado warning. I don't think it will amount to anything. The cells are small and north of us.. I guess it's because of how fast the winds are going or something. I'm sure there's some sort of tornado predicting equasion that they use. Chris is mowing the lawn so I went out to tell him that he might get carried off like Dorothy.

We had lunch at McDonalds today. Chris had to take his burger back cause it wasn't cook, and I really think a juicy pink burger from McDonalds is pretty suspicious. Plus, I didn't want him to be sick for day two of our mini vacation together.

I'm pretty sure I had a contraction this am. Just one and it hurt... it work me up and I went for what mush have been my 3rd trip to the bathroom that night and thought.. gee, maybe the narcotics won't be enough! Maybe I will want the epidural and I won't ware about a catheter so I can pee. *Shudders. We'll see.

Part of our outing today was to Wal-Mart. We bought babywipes and a pack of newborn diapers. Our first diapers! and boy are those things expensive! I think this has 40 in it and it was just under $10. *mind boggles. They seem to be less money for the sizes 1-4. I guess newborn has a premium attached to it. Then they also sell somethat are "baby-shaped". Well, I don't know about you... but I think that might be a good idea to shape them like a baby... what are the ones that don't say that shaped like?

There is so much we still need to get for the baby. I have no idea if any family type people will be giving me a shower, or if we should go ahead and spend the tax refund of buying the stuff we'll need as soon as the baby gets here. Like a contoured changing pad for example... We have to install the chandelier lamp in the room, frame and hang up the Beatrix Potter prints we have and wash everything. I bought baby ALL today. It was way less money than Dreft... I have no idea how important things like that are... but the all was nearly half the price and I'm a bargain hunter. I have to iron the crib skirt, decide if I'm going to use the crib bumper or if it is a SIDS risk. Really, people have been using bumpers for a long time and more babies are fine than die... so I really don't see the harm.. plus it's pretty. Also, I think we plan to have the baby sleep in the bassinet of the back and play for the first little while. Who knows how that will work out.

On and on... Not to mention all the things I'd like to be doing in the yard. I'm glad I at least have flowers in the baskets on my porch railings and in the whiskey barrel out front.

Lost my train of thought... So I guess I'll stop.
