From Flu to Funk.

Holy alliteration batman.

So, yeah... I had back to back sicknesses and two weeks of family houseguests and now I have good health and empty house. Oh, and a funk. A funk I am working on getting rid of. I haven't wanted to really do anything, I am now trying to do things to help myself feel better. I went to the gym today for the fist time in a month. I really missed it. The act of going is still there, but once I'm there it just feels so good and I can imagine losing more weight and moving down sizes and it makes me look forward. Looking forward is definitely part of getting out of a funk. I had lost 5 pounds from going to the gym for? two months... it's not the best, but it's better than gaining weight. The I lost 5 pounds from all the sickness. I have not weighed myself since I started with the antibiotics, and since then I have actually had an appetite again, and Christmas season food that I NEVER have in the house, except when I recieve it as a gift. Thank's to the neighbours for the Whitman's Sampler, it was delicious.

Tomorrow Chris and I are going to Milwaukee because I have an appointment at the US Citizenship and Immigration services application support center to have my biometrics taken. Biometrics, for as ominous as it sounds is basically them taking my fingerprints. So, it is a long drive for a short appointment. I'm hoping to stop at the houtlet mall on the way back and look around.

Well, not thrilling, but it's more of an explaination for why I don't even have the energy to write about the boring things going on.
